Weekly Deals

**Update the below table will change each week to show the new weekly deals so the post content may no longer make sense!**

I am in the middle of making a whole flock of butterflies for some wedding invitations tonight but I thought I would pop in quickly to remind you that this weeks weekly deals are out today. There are three different ribbons in this weeks deals so I feel quite a few bows coming on!

Also on offer this week is the Note Tag Punch which coordinates with the new One Tag Fits All set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue and if you treated yourself to both of those this week you're only £17.42 away from getting a free Sale-a-bration item! Just saying...

Free Lotus Blossom

Hello everyone, well I got a little carried away making cards with all of my new sets that I forgot to share them, so I'm sorry it's been a bit of a gap since the first one.

When I went to the Sale-a-bration event for demonstrators back in December we were given a sneak peak and were able to have a go with the lotus blossom set (which just happens to be one of the FREE stamps sets if you spend £45) and I fell in love with it. It's what's called a two step stamp set which means that you build up the layers to achieve the end result. It's a lot easier than it sounds as the layers are numbered and they have a little arrow so that you can line all of the layers up. You can do this either with one or two colours (or three...). I chose to do mine with just one colour this time but will have a go with two next time.

(Sorry about the quality of the photo, I haven't found the right spot yet to avoid the shadows but hopefully you'll be able to see the detail on the flowers.)

To achieve this with just one colour I really inked up the first stamp so it was really juicy and came out nice and dark. Then for the second layer I stamped it onto scrap paper first and for the third and final layer I stamped it a couple of times on scrap paper so there was barely any ink left on the stamp before stamping onto my image. The best thing with this set is to have a play with different colour combinations and ways of layering the stamps because you can change around the order to achieve different results.

Have you spotted the Artisan Embellishment Kit on page 27 of the Spring/Summer catalogue yet? I was so excited when I saw this as it's such a cute little set with some lovely bits to make adding embellishments easy. That's where the button and little bit of rose red lace at the top of the card come from. I'm looking forward to trying out the rose die-cut cards that come in the kit, I just haven't quite worked out what to do with them yet!

If you haven't got a catalogue yet drop me an email and I'll pop one in the post for you.

A friendly butterfly

Hello everyone, well I managed to squeeze into my craft room the other night to have a go with my new goodies. I couldn't believe the size of the box when it turned up as I'd tried to be really good this time, although lots of it was free! I love sale-a-bration and hostess credits! I'm determined to keep it all in the box until I come to use it so that I make sure I use everything I bought at least once!

So here's the first card I made:

I have always loved butterflies on cards so when I saw the Butterflies thinlits in the Spring/Summer catalogue I just had to buy it, especially as it could be bought as a bundle with a gorgeous stamp set. I think several of my cards are going to be using this bundle! Here I cut the butterfly out in Whisper White card and then used sponge daubers to colour it in with possibly my two favourite colours at the moment. To get it to stand out a little I just used a small about of tombow on the body of the butterfly so that the wings weren't stuck down. This was then topped off with a pearl from the artisan embellishment kit, which I love. The sentiment came from the set Simply Wonderful which is one of the offerings in this years sale-a-bration (free with every £45 spend, so that's two free items if you spend £90 etc)

Thanks for stopping by, I already have one card lined up to show you and I suspect there will be plenty more on the way.

They're here

Evening everyone. Sorry about the late post, I've been making wedding invite samples today and got a little carried away! Hopefully you'll all know by now but if you don't, Sale-a-bration and the Spring/Summer supplement are here!! If you click on the photo below it will take you straight to my shop where you can start viewing all of the wonderful items on offer.

Just in case you haven't been around for a Sale-a-bration before in a nutshell it means free products for you. With every £45 you spend you are able to choose an exclusive product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, you cannot buy these products so if you want them you'd better snap them up fast. There are several ways to earn free stuff throughout Sale-a-bration so take a look at the table below and then give me a shout if there's anything I can do to help, I'm available for both classes and parties/workshops while this is going on.

I can't wait for my order to arrive so that I can show you some of the goodies on offer! Thanks for stopping in.

Apologies

Just a really quick post to apologise for all of my images having disappeared from my blog. I inadvertently deleted all of the images when backing up my new phone. I will do my best to get them all back up but it may take some time. Sorry!

We've moved!!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and are ready for the New Year? We had a lovely Christmas in our brand new house! We moved in six days before Christmas, crazy right? Which means my craft room has been packed away for far too long and it looks like it could be a little while before it's up and running again but as soon as I can get in there I will! Just look at the mess of boxes I have to get through first!

Not nearly enough of that is actually my craft stuff! We also have no internet at the moment so I'm attempting to post from my phone, which is challenging to say the least!! It also means that I have no idea what this will look like on a computer. I'm really sorry if it looks rubbish but I thought it was far too long since I posted anything.

As the spring/summer catalogue and sale-a-bration event is round the corner I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in again. Keep your eye on my blog as I'm determined to get it back on track for 2015.

I almost forgot, I'm now based in Waterlooville on the outskirts of Denmead so if your local and fancy a party, class or what some help with products just give me a shout. My mobile and email haven't changed.

I hope you all have a great New Year!
